Maryland Pekiti-Tirsia Kali Bulls
The time has come for the Ladra Clan under the leadership of Master Apolo and his brother Bobby Ladra from the
province of Batangas, Philippines to dedicate the remaining challenging years of their martial arts careers recognizing the
mandate of their forefathers.
Batangas is a hotbed of the famous "Batanguenos", the hybrid Balisong Knife fighters of the Philippines. This
mandate is a true Filipino culture expressed through the art of the explosive fighting power of "Kali" where the power kicks
to the power punch are only the expression of what is the speed of the Kali blade energized by the presence of the Pekiti-Tirsia
Kali System.
The presence of the true traditional indigenous art of Kali in Maryland will enhance the capabilities of every
student regardless of discipline re-inforced by the philosophical power of the art expressed in its cultural values under
the Doctrine of Discipline.
Mabagsik is a unique terminology, a Filipino
word to describe, strength, alertness, quickness of action, superbly evasive, vicious and deadly. As a unique of Pitbulls,
the brotherhood of bloodlines will remain pure and genetically superior.
The 8,000 square feet of Martial Art school in Pasadena, Maryland with 1,200 students from young kids to the
adults of 60's are dedicated into the training of the Filipino traditional indigenous art, that by developing the non-Filipino
discipline to the art of Kali discipline projects the quality of students well rounded and complete in all categories of survival
via the art of empty hands to the art of loaded arms.
This Web Site will share information, activities, exchange of ideas, cultural research of more Kali history
and to generate students of high quality values guided by talented Instructors.
